About Alumnize:

We are Alumnize (www.alumnize.com), a startup in P2P job networking space. Alumnize is an online "career networking" portal to help individuals realize their career goals by leveraging the power of their alumni networks. There are 2 co-founders (ISB and DCE alumni) and couple of interns.

We are yet to do a formal launch, but the concept seems to be finding some early traction. The product is in its final stages. The product is developed by people who are no longer associated with it.

We are not one of those startups which though sound cool and fascinating but lack huge market opportunity and a real long term future. We truly believe that we are solving a genuine problem for the industry and there is humongous market for it. We are totally committed to our company and are in for a long run.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a person who can handle the technology part of alumnize going forward. That includes new feature addition, design aspects, backend, testing, among others. We want a person who has a good experience in web technologies & related aspects and is willing to make his hands dirty with Alumnize, not someone who would just consult and direct others to work. We would prefer a full-timer but can consider a part timer as well. We recommend you to go through www.alumnize.com and understand nitty-gritties of the product before applying. There is no minimum experience criteria, we just want a right fit.

Some skills we are looking at are,

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, jQuery Framework, PHP, MySQL, CodeIgniter PHP Framework, Twitter Bootstrap, Facebook Graph API, LinkedIn API

Remuneration

We will be able to pay minimal/zero compensation but can negotiate on equity.
