Chief Technology Officer - SaaS Firm

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology road map aligned with the company's business goals, prioritizing SaaS product development and innovation.

- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for competitive advantage within the SaaS market.

- Collaborate with executive leadership to define technology strategy and budget allocation for SaaS initiatives.

- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of SaaS products, ensuring high quality, scalability, and performance.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product usage, customer satisfaction, and system uptime.

- Design and manage the company's cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, optimizing for cost-efficiency and performance.

- Ensure robust cloud security practices are implemented to protect customer data and comply with relevant regulations.

- Architect scalable cloud solutions to accommodate growing user bases and evolving product features.

- Monitor customer feedback and proactively address technical issues impacting the SaaS platform.

- Ensure smooth on-boarding and support for new customers utilizing the company's SaaS offerings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Qualification: Graduate / Engineer (MBA / IIT will be preferred). Previous experience in a high-growth startup or enterprise SaaS company and familiarity with global compliance frameworks.

- Experience: At least 18+ years of experience overall, of which 7 years are relevant. Should have worked with reputed mid to large size IT Company in SW Development space. Product development preferred in experience. Cloud and SAAS model experience mandatory. Must have experience of handling large team.

- SaaS Expertise: Deep understanding of SaaS principles, architecture, delivery models, and best practices gained through 5+ years of experience in the SaaS industry in same organization.

- Technology Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage large-scale technology initiatives, including cloud-based architecture design and implementation.

- Engineering Management: Extensive experience managing software development teams across various stages of the product lifecycle.

- Technical Skills: Proficient in programming languages relevant to SaaS development (e.g., Java, Python, .NET) and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business drivers and the ability to align technology strategy with business goals.

- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
