Job Summary & Purpose of the Job:
This position will be accountable for all aspects of technology and its development. The role will be responsible for developing a solid, high-performing team to deliver world class platforms and tech products. Driving strategic tech-led improvements through the development of cutting-edge technologies, systems and designing scalable information architecture will be key for the success of this role.
Responsibility & Accountability (Function & Duties to be performed by this position)
- Work with stakeholders to set overall technology roadmap
- Set technical vision and goals of the company
- Setting direction for internal operations technology
- Driving strategic improvements in company operations through choice of appropriate technologies, systems and information architecture
- Deliver projects on time and on-budget as per the requirements
- Build the high caliber technology team
- Manage the performance of the tech team, engineers, and vendor partners
- Be accountable for the overall technology platform development
- Drive technical excellence and quality of the technology platforms
- Define, Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics
- Collaborate effectively with the leadership team to create and timely implement the tech roadmap
- Management of platform-wide security and infrastructure
- Oversee and maintain the application and server architecture
- Management of QA and testing procedures
- Management of application development and API integrations
- Provide hands on coaching and mentoring to the team Work in an agile development environment
- Explore new and emerging technologies, and the research industry and its trends. Make recommendations to improve the product features and performance
Requirements
- 15+ years experience of proven experience in building complex, large scale applications / ERP systems
- Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure
- Background in designing IT systems and planning their implementations
- Excellent Team building and management capability
- Agile champion preferred
- End to End Technology Development Experience
- Hands on leader. Should be able to get into the details of the code to mentor the team members
- Excellent interpersonal skills
