Chief Technology Officer

- This role will be instrumental in defining and executing the strategic technology plans, ensuring the client organization remains a leader in innovation within the logistics sector.

- It is MUST for the candidate to have experience with start-ups, particularly in the logistics sector, with a strong understanding of transportation.

The incumbent would be responsible for :

- Formulating and executing a holistic technology strategy that supports and enhances the company's overarching business objectives.

- Transition the technology framework from a successful startup phase to a scalable and robust model.

- Lead the exploration and implementation of cutting-edge technologies and solutions aimed at streamlining and improving logistics operations.

- Oversee all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), guaranteeing that projects are delivered with excellence and punctuality.

- Build, manage, and mentor a dynamic engineering team, promoting a culture that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Establish and maintain a reliable and secure IT infrastructure capable of supporting the company's growth and ensuring data integrity.

- Supervise data management practices to ensure compliance with all applicable data privacy and protection regulations.

Candidate Experience :

- Extensive experience in a senior technology leadership role, such as CTO, within a technology centric organization.

- In-depth knowledge of the logistics industry, including its specific technological needs and challenges.

- Strong expertise in modern technologies, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud computing services.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices, design thinking methodologies, and expertise in deploying SaaS products on cloud platforms.
