Chief Technology Officer - FMCG

Our client: We are supporting one of the region's leading FMCG business to recruit a Chief Technology Officer at a critical time.

Your role:

- Following a period of unprecedented growth and success and having continually invested heavily in IT and systems this is an exciting time to join this leading and well-known brand business.

- The position will work as part of the senior management and have full responsibility for everything IT, digital, technology, and systems related. Leadership for a multidisciplinary IT and systems team across multiple locations including support, infrastructure, development, business analysis, project management and security.

- Recommendations at board level for IT investment and future projects. Management of IT and business systems for a complex and multi-site business.

- Working with the senior team and business MD's on IT and technology roadmap. The role holder is also responsible for owning the architectural decisions for the team and working closely with all team members to create a modular and scalable solution that addresses development requirements, IT operations, and future architectural changes and designs.

- The role holder will drive the team's engineering practices, test driven development, continuous integration, and automated deployment.

Must Haves:

- 15+ years of strong experience in an IT and technical environment, minimum of 7years+ experience in leading teams out of the 15 years. Ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders.

- Strong leadership skills.

- Can make architecture decisions at a team and product level.

- Be able to code and architect back and front-end solutions with multiple types or architecture.

- Familiar with production Cloud/DevOps environments.

- Experience in Agile Development, with specific Solution Architect (or similar) experience preferred.
