Chief Technology Officer - FinTech

Job Description

We are looking for people who are passionate about both technology and business. Build a robust technology architecture and technology roadmap to deliver vision of creating a cohesive SME ecosystem. Lead through the current early stage, involving creation of technology platforms to fulfill business objectives to the growth phase ensuring that the business has the resources needed to implement the right technical solutions according to its needs.

Strategic thought leadership to leverage cutting edge technology and deliver on business goals at speed. Should have good role flexibility, be hands-on when required and be able to manage multiple partners.

- Drive engineering vision and architecture for the company

- Have strong expertise in programming, software architecture design, cloud-based infrastructure configuration.

- Lead infrastructure, information security, and IT

- Develop a deep understanding of the company's business model and product roadmap to ensure that the organizations technology fully serves its business strategy.

- Optimize the application architecture, technology stack and infrastructure to ensure scalability of application & infrastructure

- Grow the company's engineering team to manage scale and many-nines uptime.

- Build and manage development teams, development pipeline and establish a culture of agile software development workflow

- Keep track of tech trends in the industry and identify competitive advantages

- Oversee IT budgets to optimize expenditures

Technical Skills and Experience

- Previous work experience as a Chief Technology Officer or another similar leadership role

- Expertise in data security, enterprise risk, PCI DSS norms are critical. A good understanding of payments processing is added advantage

- Comprehension of budgets & understanding of business planning

- Deep understanding of system architecture, programming and software design. A background in development would be helpful

- Knowledge of existing and emerging technology trends to direct business strategy

- Experience in deployment of technologies to scale and an ability to evaluate multiple technologies to find a best fit for the business model.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and good business acumen

- Expertise in managing multiple concurrent projects involving multiple partner companies

- Strong leadership skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

Qualifications - B.Tech/BE in Computer Science Engineering, or another similar field

- MBA or similarly relevant graduate degree would be an asset
