Chief Technology Officer - EduTech Firm

We are seeking a technology leader to join a fast-growing education technology organization called Fliplearn, a group company of Smartclass Educational.

We are looking at someone who keeps abreast with technological trends. Basically in some ways he is a tech guru who is hands on, who helps team solve a tough problem, usually try out new stuff often and ensure that latest technology standards and best practices are maintained across the organization.

For Fliplearn, the CTO :

- Should define the tech stack for the product.

- Should advise the product team on good (and trendy) product practices.

- Stamp the specs that ultimately get delivered by engineering team

- Should be the face of the tech team for customers; often participating in customer conversions.

Industry : Education / Teaching / Training

Functional Area : IT Software - eCommerce, Internet Technologies

Desired Candidate Profile :

Must-have :

- A min. of 10 years experience.

- A min. of 5 years with a product company.

- Has seen a full product cycle (at least over 2 years with a single product)

- Has solution architected few projects

- Must be methodical and a documenter

Nice-to-have :

- Worked on a platform product

- Worked in education domain

- Worked with outsourced teams

- Some gaming experience (they know how to add functionality bit by bit!)
