Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Chief Technical Officer to spearhead the product development and related aspects. He/she will come from a background where delivering results and driving innovation is the nature and quality in equal measure. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, be a strategic thinker, an effective communicator, and an expert in technological development.

Job Responsibilities

As a Chief Technology Officer, your role will comprise of the following:

1. Exemplary Leadership:

Define strategy and roadmap for product development to translate business needs to technology solutions

Lead the Tech team while supervising the development and maintenance of large software solutions and IT infrastructure

Own the development sprint cycles to ensure time-bound delivery and manage the lifecycle

Structure and define performance metrics, feedback loops, bug resolution cycles and growth hacks

Stay updated with the latest tech stacks, all best practices, industry standards, competitor analysis and existing open-source tools to be incorporated in product enhancement

Build an 'A team' of Engineers & Developers with a high-performance culture

Keep envisioning, creating and ideating the product journey by using cutting-edge tech to build a robust and scalable platform in alignment with customer needs and business goals

2. Closely & constantly engage with the CEO and leadership team to understand the vision & ensure the strategic evolution of back-end architecture, code-base, and product design to realize the same. You will be closely engaged in developing technology business plans and budgets that support the short-term budget & long-term growth and business objectives of the company.

Required Skill:

- Demonstrated experience in Java development, mobile and web applications, Website Deployment and ability to build Webstacks

- Experience in Web 2.0 is highly desirable

Qualifications & Experience:

- BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech - from Tier-1 Engineering college (+MBA preferred)

- 10+ years of overall experience, 2+ years of experience in a CTO role or similar roles

- Previous experience of managing similar profile in Ecommerce / Start-up ecosystem
