Chief Technology Officer - eCommerce

We have an urgent requirement with one of the biggest group for there E-Commerce Vertical at Gurgaon.

Designation : CTO - E-Commerce

Profile : IT strategy & planning

- Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies

- Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects

- Client interactions for technical solutions discussion, status meetings and project updates

- Define IT strategy, planning and budgeting as per business plan

- Technical Lead responsible for to overall project to client, Technical architecture and design of the applications

- Team Management, Work delegation and coordination with team members and Interaction with QA and business analyst teams

- Application security by ensuring Web application security standards and principles are being followed

- Application Performance by ensuring all the technology best practices are being followed

- Ensure the quality of code and build the client, code reviews and code documentation, project documentation, install guides, any prerequisites

- Work with business stakeholders to balance business and technical objectives and manifest these as clear, stable priorities for the team

- Turn high-level project objectives into a comprehensive set of stories by leading intensive, multi-discipline, collaboration sessions

Operational :

- Responsible for development, selection, customization, implementation and smooth running of all software solutions required facilitating and supporting the primary research & development and knowledge management processes as well as the support functions in an efficient and effective manner

- Responsible for maintaining the highest level of data-security as well as providing for systems and procedures to ensure business continuity

- Responsible for providing IT hardware solutions to all users in the organization required running all necessary applications and maintaining maximum up-time

- Responsible for effective interface between instrumentation and IT -function on the site

- Responsible for E-waste management and IT licencing related matters across the site

- Be involved in planning of IT hardware systems & software applications for construction of new infrastructure projects as and when required

- Working under guidance of Corporate IT management in making sure that all internal (IT) policies are complied with at all times

- Any other activities that may be assigned from time to time

- Research into IT products & Services, Industry trends & developments to ensure that technology & techniques deployed are mature, stable & sustainable for effective use

- Responsible for technology and solutions governance across new technology selection, change requests, projects and business changes

Financial :

- Responsible for budgeting IT (Software and hardware) as per the need of the business

- Financial Planning and forecasting for the IT department

- Client Account Management

People :

- Build & manage the team to effectively manage the entire IT operation of the entire E-commerce division

- Responsible for Identifying and designing effective resource allocation plan for the team members across the site and presenting the same to the respective users for approval.

- Working and maintaining close working relationships with the users to understand their requirements

- Assess the human resources required to effectively execute the IT function and, with the help of the HR team of the company, put the required team in place, and lead the team

- Maintain close working relationships with the other departments in the company for smooth communication and coordination

- Actively ask for feedback, identify and address improvement potential in the area of responsibility.
