Sportskeeda - Currently the largest all sports website of India with 4 m + pageviews / month. The VC backed firm wish to take the next level by developing a social layer over content.

They are looking to hire start-up enthusiasts who dream not of salary but of stock options (salary is still good, by the way). Those who are in the game for the fame and name. Guys who wish to get featured in techcrunch for making something kickass.

A large network of Sports fans interacting socially over exciting content. Imagine huge streams of content, passionate fans, adrenalin rush, live commentary pages, one click information, one click comments.

Requirements

- Strong experience in the latest web technologies (PHP, LAMP stack, modular HTML, Java Script, jQuery) and awareness of web standards (Please don't apply if your major experience is in Microsoft technologies.)

- How will you build a live text commentary module? (don't apply if you are thinking of jabber)

- Overall 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least the last 5 years in a senior technology role at a leading consumer internet company ( Y!, AOL, Google, etc )

- Strong technical & product background with the ability to expand and lead a team of strong software engineers

- Experience with object oriented design experience and design patterns

- Defining tasks, allocating tasks, work breakdown structure, planning resource requirements and project timelines

- Passionate about technology & web-products

- Excellent communication skills, an attitude to get things done and willingness to work in a high-growth start-up environment

Football Live text commentary

1) Admins have the access to dashboard and they can update the live commentary.

2) On the front end the reader sees streams of one liners , with name of the anchor , which comes auto ( without refresh )

3) Score and names of the goal scorers.

4) Readers can comment on the stream, it will be published if the anchor approves the same.
