Role overview - Chief Technology Officer

Tap Health is seeking an experienced and visionary Engineering leader to lead our engineering & AI team. This role is pivotal in driving the development of our cutting-edge AI-driven healthcare platform. You will be instrumental in building both consumer and B2B applications across mobile, SDK and PWA, creating APIs for third-party services, and ensuring the seamless integration of our platform within the broader healthcare ecosystem.

Key result area:

- AI and Data Strategy: Drive the development and integration of AI technologies to enhance our early illness detection and health information platform. Leverage data to improve personalization and deliver better healthcare outcomes.

- Technology Leadership: Define and implement the technical vision and strategy for Tap Health, aligning with the company's business goals.

- Team Management: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Product Development: Oversee the development and deployment of our AI-driven healthcare platform, ensuring it meets the highest standards of performance, scalability, and security.

- Innovation: Drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to enhance our product offerings and maintain a competitive edge.

- Partnerships: Collaborate with other executives, stakeholders, and external partners to identify opportunities for technological advancement and integration.

- Data Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy, leveraging our proprietary knowledge base to fine-tune our AI models and improve personalization.

- Quality Assurance: Ensure robust testing, deployment, and monitoring practices to maintain high-quality, reliable, and secure software solutions.

Job description:

- Being hands-on with code.

- Lead and manage a team of engineers in the workstream, setting clear goals and priorities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and data science, to identify growth opportunities and prioritize initiatives.

- Rapid prototyping of proof-of-concept stage projects.

- Oversee project planning, team allocation, and task delegation.

- Follow up with the development of high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions.

- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of growth initiatives and iterate on strategies accordingly.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in growth hacking and apply them to our products.

Who Should Apply For This Role:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

- 10-15 years of relevant experience in a senior technology leadership role in a consumer Internet business

- Exposure to 0 to 1 build-up

- Strong background in AI and machine learning technologies, with prior experience in building on AI

- Strong exposure to frontend and backend engineering

- Good technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages/technologies, platforms, cloud architecture, security and privacy etc
