Chief Technology Officer - BFSI

We are looking out for an experienced CTO with domain specific knowledge in BFSI. The selected person will drive build up the technology and surround systems to catering to a million borrowers & multiple lending partners. At all times he/she will be driving position for technology and work with founder to provide superlative technology stack for the company. Management of high calibre engineering team is part of the responsibility.

The position provides direct pathway to become part of founding team (with incentives and emoluments) of the company, deserving candidate may even become the COO of the company.

Responsibility:

1. Product Engineering Responsibilities (Core)

a. Understand the technical and functional requirements given by product managers

b. New Technology Adoption after cost benefit analysis

c. Design and development for vertical and horizontal expansion

d. Drive coding standards

2. Product Engineering Responsibilities (additional) to be done with partners & other stakeholders in the company

a. Manage the AWS and other cloud environment

b. ML and Neural engine scale up

c. Contribute to product roadmap of company

d. Represent company in technical forums and investor meetings

e. Vendor selection and management

f. Build culture of excellence & frugal innovation

Requirements:

1. Deep experience in Banking technology especially credit and related areas.

2. Domain exposure to BFSI product journey.

3. Exposure to Credit assessment procedures

4. Basic understanding of ML and neural technologies

5. Understanding of financial statement

6. Expert knowledge of Java and associated technologies

7. Mix of experience and base qualification in engineering

8. Good to excellent communication and presentation skills
