JOB LOCATION : Ahmedabad - India

JOB DESCRIPTION :

- This is a role which will offer the successful candidate not only an entrepreneurial and rewarding career, but also a fantastic opportunity to shape the future business strategy and delivery structure globally.

The role:

- Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for successfully managing all global projects and ensuring total quality and customer satisfaction at all times

- Manage all the all technical staff globally in terms of allocation to projects, training and guiding

- Hire technical talent and groom teams globally

- Forecast the resource requirements along with sales and presales teams on a global basis

- Managing P&L of the delivery team/projects

The person:

- A strong communicator and relationship builder with entrepreneurial flair, able to demonstrate a successful commercial track record of growth as a delivery manager managing global delivery organizations

- 17+ years of experience in manage software projects and services

- Preferably Engineering Graduate

- Experience in delivering enterprise software projects with distributed teams in onsite & offshore

- Technical knowledge preferably in Open Source/ ECM/ Portals/ E-commerce

- Ability to understand high-level architecture and be able to facilitate technical decisions for appropriate solutions.

- Experience in project management of multiple projects and delivery planning.

- Ability to anticipate, manage and resolve risks and issues

- Ability to connect with and grow relationship with customers globally with a focus on US customers and negotiate through the delivery process managing escalations

- Should be based out of Ahmedabad center in India

- Travel readiness – at least 60% - to US, UK, Germany and within India to all centers

- Age maximum 47 years

- Experience of managing 300-400 people

- Overseas experience in managing customers

- Experience in open source technology

Compensation: Salary will be excellent for the right candidate. Salary will be base salary plus bonus
