Chief Technology Officer

CTO (for a leading Technology Product firm; building an Application Performance Monitoring (APM)

Our client, is a global tier 1 VC funded, Cloud Generation Technology Product firm looking to bring in a CTO who will be a part of the core leadership team; and will work closely with the Management and the Board to develop an Application Performance Management (APM) product platform for the global market.

Key Responsibilities:

The CTO shall have the overall responsibility for establishing, communicating and maintaining the technology architecture as required for the market, and ensuring that the architecture will deliver the business goals of the company.

1. As a part of company’s management team, identify opportunities and risks for delivering the company’s products and services, identify competition, identify opportunities for innovation, and assess possible hurdles for business.

2. Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms and align to the product roadmap

3. Lead and Manage the strategic planning process to achieve organizational goals by identifying and prioritizing product development initiatives and defining timelines for product development and refinements

4. Guide the Product Engineering team so ADMP (Application Delivery Management platform) can reach a leadership position in the application delivery product space

5. Build strong relationships with Product Management and other Product Leaders and leverage this to drive shared vision on Anunta’s product strategy, requirements and execution

Desired Skills and Experience:

1. Experience of working in Infrastructure Management space and good familiarity with Virtualization space

2. Passion for Infrastructure Operations & Management and a vision for the how the discipline will evolve

3. 15 – 18 + years of industry experience of which 5 is in an engineering leadership role.

4. Advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent

5. Strong technical skills and awareness of enterprise software technologies and standards such as Service Oriented Architectures, Virtualization Technologies, Cloud Computing and Web Services.

6. Track record of delivering multiple releases of high quality enterprise software at well-known firms with good customer acceptance and market success.

7. Demonstrated ability to build high performance teams that consist of Architects, Developers and Quality Managers.
