Chief Technical Officer - Property/Real Estate

Job Role & Responsibilities :

- As the CTO, you shall be responsible for providing leadership, technology design expertise, direction, coordination, and consultation, in the development, integration, launch, scaling, and maintenance of new and existing products. You will be leading a team of inhouse developers as well as augmented resources, establishing the strategic direction for solution design, build, deployment approaches, process, pattern, and frameworks.

Shaping technology vision :

- You will develop a technical strategy for, collaborating with co-founders, in order to align the strategy with the business vision. You will need to combine your technical skills and business acumen to achieve best in class user experience.

Building the Minimum Viable Product :

- You will be responsible for creating an MVP that can gain real-time user feedback as fast as possible. You will be responsible for a series of product iterations and be responsible for the delivery of the final product.

Quality Assurance :

- You will be responsible for overall quality of the offering including but not limited to the code quality, quality of all portals, website and their seamless integration with one another. You would need to ensure proper documentation especially creating use test cases, ensuring testing system is established and meticulously correlate the testing to the architecture.

Attracting and mentoring talented developers:

- You shall handle interviewing, hiring, onboarding and training of engineers, vendors. You will continue to mentor talent that can be later trusted with critical functions, and need to have the engineering expertise to evaluate technical knowledge.

Tech stack :

- Basing on technical and commercial properties, you will be called up to suggest technical platforms to use on the project. The solution may require such considerations as the number of developers available, the cost of developers, the cost of the framework, deployment time, security, community support, and fitting for business vision.

DevOps :

- In the initial stages of the journey, you may be called up to step into the shoes as a DevOps until. In this role, you shall manage domains and SSL certificates, sets up servers, databases, third-party tools, and ensures company-wide security.

Updating architecture :

- You will be in-charge of the end-to-end architecture of the platform. You would need to handle the improvement process with right levels of delegation to the team.

- You shall serve as the primary design authority at a project level by understanding the business goals and technology constraints and designing appropriate solutions that map to the organization's enterprise architecture.

- You shall provide design directives to software developers, including how to construct and integrate software to meet all functional and non-functional requirements.

- You shall get sprints run towards completion of modules.

- You shall ensure timely creation of appropriate technical artifacts, e.g., Application Architecture, Solution Design Documents, etc

- You will be required to monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals
