- Responsible for developing the company's strategy for using technological resources to advance business objectives.
- Shaping and implementing technology solutions that create a competitive advantage for the business and provide technical vision to complement the business vision.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategy and Planning:
- Establish the company's technical vision and lead all aspects of the company's technological development.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for in-house vs third party dev-ops in parallel and support of company growth
- Creating a project plan including resource plan and timeline to deliver the solution (customizations, upgrades, migration, new products, new software, etc.)
- Spearhead IT projects to increase our market reach and improve our USP
- Identify new areas of improving business efficiency with the use of technology and create plans to implement them
- Present technology strategy to the stakeholders or as required
- Analyzing technical and non-technical solutions to meet requirements
- Evaluating options against company requirements and recommending a best-fit solution
Research and Implementation:
- Conducts research and case studies on leading-edge technologies and makes determinations on the probability of implementation.
- Evaluate and Implement new systems and infrastructure
- Maintain current knowledge of technology landscape and developments
- Cross Functional Interaction and Team management
- Works in a consultative fashion with other department heads, as an advisor of technologies that may improve their efficiency and effectiveness.
- Use stakeholders' feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
- Help departments use technology profitably
- Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, directing, and evaluating departmental staff.
- Coordinating internal and external teams and dependencies to deliver a solution
- Coordinating with third-party providers to understand possible solutions
Quality Assurance:
- Track, analyze, and monitor technology performance metrics
- Build quality assurance and data protection processes
- Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture
- Manage all IT support, System Software, Hardware & Project
- Management of all technology projects
Qualifications:
Education: UG - IT in BE / BCA, PG - IT / MCA /MS
Work Experience: 15 - 20 years, at least 10+ year in handling Hardware, Software & Digital systems
