Job Overview:
The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) - Agency Business will be a key executive leader responsible for shaping and executing the strategic direction of the agency. This role involves developing and implementing strategic initiatives to drive business growth, enhance client relationships, and maintain the agency's competitive edge in the market. While the CSO will focus on strategic planning and client engagement, this position does not include P&L responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Vision and Planning: Define and implement a clear strategic vision aligned with business goals.
- Business Development and Growth: Drive client acquisition and growth through strategic partnerships.
- Client-Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration across teams for strategic execution.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Measure and report on strategic initiatives and business performance.
- Leadership and Team Development: Mentor and develop the strategy team for high performance.
- Market and Industry Engagement: Represent the agency as a thought leader in the industry.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Strategy, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in strategic roles within the agency or consulting industry, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership position.
Skills:
- Strong expertise in strategic planning, business development, and client management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities, with experience in developing high-performing teams.
