Primary Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Leadership:

- Develop and execute national sales strategies to meet the company's volume and revenue targets across multiple product categories.

- Lead the formulation and execution of sales plans, forecasts, and budgets to ensure consistent growth and profitability.

- Establish and maintain relationships with key distributors, retailers, and other channel partners to expand the company's market reach.

- Ensure effective implementation of sales strategies across all regions, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.

- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure cohesive brand positioning, promotion campaigns, and new product launches.

Sales Operations & Team Management:

- Oversee and manage a large-scale sales force across different regions, ensuring high performance, motivation, and alignment with targets.

- Set sales targets, KPIs, and incentives for the sales team, continuously monitoring performance and implementing corrective actions when necessary.

- Develop a performance-driven culture by fostering accountability, reward programs, and continuous coaching.

- Ensure smooth sales operations by implementing the best practices for distribution management, inventory control, and supply chain coordination.

- Drive retail execution excellence, including visual merchandising, product availability, and pricing strategies in key retail outlets.

Revenue Growth & Market Expansion:

- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, including entering new geographies, channels, and market segments.

- Ensure growth in market share through effective sales strategies and increasing penetration in both urban and rural markets

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies proactively.

- Lead the expansion into modern trade channels, e-commerce platforms, and emerging markets to diversify revenue streams.

Financial & Performance Management:

- Manage the sales P&L, ensuring revenue targets and profitability goals are met or exceeded.

- Oversee the budgeting process, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum return on investment.

- Develop pricing strategies that ensure competitive positioning while protecting margins.

- Regularly report to the CEO and board on sales performance, market trends, and key strategic initiatives.
