Role Description: - Chief Risk Officer
Profession Qualifications:
- A Bachelors and Master Degree preferably in Finance, Economics or related subjects.
- A professional certification such as PRM, CPA, SFA is a plus.
- Minimum 6 years- experience in a major NBFC/Bank, of which at least 2 years in a leadership capacity within a risk function..
- Exposure in Unsecured Consumer lending or Microfinance is a must
- Responsible for creating and maintaining internal credit scorecard/ Credit Risk Predictive Modeling
- Responsible for creating, testing and implementing innovative risk assessment models for different customer personal
- Develop, maintain and validate predictive models deployed by the organization
- Develop a detailed understanding of the various risk models, including credit risk, market risk and liquidity risk models and regulatory models
- Thoroughly evaluate the model and presentations for the model results
- Test the model results by employing various statistical/machine learning techniques.
- Responsible for developing the NBFC's risk management framework, including establishing the risk management mechanisms, to identify, assess, monitor, measure and control a broad spectrum of risks.
- Create KPIs for performance and quality measurement purposes.
- Facilitate the development of clearly defined & updated policies & procedures for risk management.
- Assist in the review of process/products/credit facility applications as needed
- Provide timely and accurate information to the external and internal auditors and the compliance function
- Assist in setting up fraud analytics framework
- Work with the technology team to Ensure the models are effectively integrated into product development and delivery methodology.
- Work with Operations, Sales and Risk team to formulate new or enhance lending, customer acquisitions processes, policies, controls and standards.
- Setup foundation for predictive analytics, machine learning and self-learning algo
Person/ Experience required:
- Strong understanding of operational, legal, credit and market risks across the full range of products and processes.
- Prior experience of designing and implementing risk management processes. .
- Well-developed analytical and interpersonal skills
