- Setting up framework for identification, measurement and mitigation of risks relating to Operational/Credit & Market Risk
- Operational Risk:Implement operational risk program by identifying Key Risk Indicators (KRI), conducting Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) for processes, Review of operational risk events and incident reports, carry out Root Causes Analysis (RCA), Collate and analyze Loss Event Data (LED) and develop action plans to mitigate perceived risks
- Design, review and execute KRI based RCSA rating tool as per risk assessment of different functions (Operations, HR, IT, Legal, Finance, Training & Accounts etc..) on a periodic basis
- Ensure preparation and dissemination of risk related reports and presentations to the concerned management team
- Develop training material for risk team as well as for field operations team to ensure effective training delivery and build risk awareness culture by sending email teasers to all employees on operational risk and credit risk
- Managing fraud risk management team wrt investigation of fraud and suggestions for plugging the loopholes for prevention in future -to analyse and mitigate the risks of the company is exposed to due to frauds and act as fraud prevention and control
- Credit Risk: Ensure an effective credit risk management program is in place within the company and oversee changes to the Credit Policy, risk appetite and risk limits
- Participating in the evaluation of new products and business opportunities
- Provide regular review and analysis of credit portfolio trends to detect deterioration in portfolio quality.
- Ensure all credit exposure complies with credit policies, procedures, standards and required capital provisions
- Working on Expected Credit Loss (ECL) model to address loan loss provisioning during stress scenario
- Market Risk: Designing liquidity risk management framework
- Calculation of monthly Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) basis stock of High Quality Liquidity Assets (HQLA) and Cash Outflows
- Ensure risk tolerance limit through LCR and its disclosure in financials on a quarterly basis.
- Participate in ALM committee to understand ALM risk due to the mismatch in the composition of assets and liabilities in terms of interest rate, amount and maturity date.
- Provide inputs and present monthly risk and process related summary to the management and on a quarterly basis to the Risk Management committee and Board.
