Our client is a renowned tea brand that has its legacy treasured for nearly 80 years. It brings to the customers' pure home-grown tea products directly to the cup without the hassles of middlemen. Their sole purpose is to source the best teas from the gardens within 72 hours of production while ensuring that the earnings are retained in the regions and farmers get their due. The team has also launched a social initiative that pledges a part of revenue towards the education of the farmers' children.
The team is backed by eminent angel investors and it provides an online-first delivery service. Apart from India, the teas are also exported and countries like the USA, Russia and Europe are its major markets. The founder has been named in the 30 Under-30 Forbes Entrepreneur list and wants to focus on reworking the traditional supply chain and leveraging technology to its best use.
As Chief Revenue Officer (Online), you will be taking P & L ownership of the entire online business vertical of the company.
What you will do :
- Planning, strategizing & building the company's direct-to-consumer websites in the US, India & globally.
- Managing & growing the company's marketplaces business on Amazon, Walmart & other marketplaces across the world.
- Hiring & building a world-class team internally to sustainably & profitable grow the online business for the brand.
- Financial Planning, Budgeting & Maximizing ROI
- Maintaining current knowledge of the ever-evolving landscape; trends, products, and channels
- Running & taking ownership of all acquisition channels on the internet including Facebook, Instagram, Google, Youtube, Taboola, Twitter and others. Build a sustainable & profitable business strategy.
- Owning the retention metrics for the brand & build a customer experience team.
- Developing a holistic strategy to consistently better key metrics like Revenue, AOV, Conversion Rate, Repeat, Brand Recall, etc.
Candidate Profile :
What you need to have :
- 7 -10 years+ proven track record of managing a successful e-commerce business & scaling up a consumer brand online.
- Track record of running multi-million dollar acquisition budgets on Facebook, Instagram, Google & other acquisition channels.
- A past record of hiring & running a strong team-building e-commerce businesses
- Deep understanding of internet e-commerce trends & landscape.
- A balance of creative & analytical skills needed to scale a premium brand online
- Leadership skills needed for hiring, training and managing a strong team
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- A strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for growing companies
- Passion & urge to build a truly global brand from India
