Be responsible for
(i) P&L of business,
(ii) management of overall relationship with business clients (telecom partners),
(iii) project deliveries, and
(iv) expanding business by identifying and developing new opportunities. You will lead a team of exceptional professionals in account management / business development and program management with help of which you will
- Enhance trusted relationship with CXOs of the existing telecom clients and other partners within India and globally.
- Identify new opportunities within the existing client organization or in new telecom clients and materialize them into business;
- Estimate efforts, resource and cost, and build and make proposals by closely working with finance team, product team and tech team;
- Negotiate and get into contracts with support from finance and legal teams; and
- Ensure delivery (quality and timeline) of commitments to clients by working closely with product, tech and operation teams.
- Own responsibility of building and managing alliances and partnerships (such as with ODMs and potential brand and content partners) that are integral to the growth of the business
Must have
- Be extremely hands on;
- Be able to build personal relationship and discuss strategic matters with CEO, CMO, CIO, CPO etc. of global telecom operators, and must have some prior experience of business development outside India
- Have a matured, respected and humane personality;
- Have highly intellectual horsepower, providing strategic thoughts. Deep understanding in internet, mobile, technology, product and business;
- Have and Engineering + MBA degree from top schools
- Have experience / understanding on telecom industry (preferable).
