Chief Operations Officer ( COO )

Location: Mumbai

Reporting to: Executive Director

Responsibilities:

- Serve as a key strategic leader within the organization, providing direction and guidance to execution heads and other team members. Align the company's operational objectives with its overall vision and goals, ensuring that every initiative and project undertaken contributes to the broader strategic roadmap. By setting clear priorities, allocating resources effectively, and monitoring progress. Enable the timely and successful completion of projects while maintaining a focus on long-term sustainability and growth.

- Should prioritize the efficient and effective execution of initiatives and projects, by working closely with execution heads to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, as well as identifying potential risks and mitigation strategies. By providing guidance and support, to the execution heads to lead their teams with confidence, driving accountability, and ensuring that deadlines are met without compromising on quality. Should play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback, and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

- Fostering an environment of collaboration, trust, and innovation within the organization. Should cultivate a culture where team members feel empowered, valued, and motivated to contribute their best. By championing a positive team dynamic, ensuring that the organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent.

- Lead teams including Project Monitoring, Supply Chain Management, Design & Engineering, Contracts, Quality, and EHS to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness.

- Develop and implement robust project management processes and methodologies to mitigate risks and maximize project success.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance, streamline processes, and reduce costs.

- Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and EHS across the group, promoting a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients, vendors, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

- Monitor industry trends, technological advancements, regulatory changes and market insight into of forthcoming projects aiding the Business Development team by generating leads and discerning potential opportunities.
