The Position
The Company is looking to hire a Chief Operating Officer who will be responsible for handling end-to-end operations which will include entire management, team performance, technology investments, factory operations, administration, ensuring compliances, customer relationships, managing vendor partners, MIS, and more.
The candidate should have the problem-solving ability in a complex environment.
The ability to innovate, automate and streamline processes will be required for the role. The Chief Operating Officer should have a bias for action, multitasking ability, and project management skills. A leader with humility who can motivate and keep the team in high spirits.
The candidate should have had hands-on business operations experience and skills with the ability to make prompt decisions.
Key Responsibilities would include:
- Conclude or facilitate the decisions needed to run the company.
- Consolidate things and bring it to the founder, if there is any roadblock
- Ensure smooth sailing of the end to end operations
- Manage the entire team of 600 people in the company
- Understand and reorganize the Ops Structure if required
- Onboard, groom and develop the next line of leadership
- Build people capability through effective hiring, training, employee relations, and communication for front-line workers and the team
- Develop team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
- Build all the SOPs and KRAs and ensure smooth implementation
- Review the MIS structure and analyze business wide data to facilitate process improvement and digital transformation
- Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist other teams to solve operational issues
- Support technology team through own vision and tech knowledge
- Run the entire business with a P&L mindset
- Meet financial objectives by forecasting weekly / period requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions
- Manage pay-out to the distributors and maintain the book of accounts
- Maintain quality standards of finished product and ensure smooth delivery of shipments from warehouse
- Develop processes for inventory management, control inventory levels, check in check out, delivery and other related processes
- Develop and implement warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing process workflow, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout
- Maintain optimal staffing by manpower planning and timely deployment of resources
- Safeguard warehouse operations and material by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
- Deploy systems and processes to achieve efficiency and scale in operations
- Review and prepare any action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer servicing standards are met
- Address all complaints by finding the cause, help resolve the issue, and prevent reoccurrence

Other Requirements:
- 10+ years of managing operations experience preferably in textile manufacturing - Fashion, retail or related industry experience preferable Work hours and culture:
- Company offers a fairly smooth and flexible work environment
- Laptops and other support items to be provided by the company
- Very female friendly
- Working hours : 9-5 PM in winters; 9:30 - 6 PM in summers
- All Saturday working
