Chief Operating Officer - Stock Broking Firm

- We're searching for a chief operating officer (COO) who has strong leadership skills and the ability to approach business with a creative point of view for one my broking client based out of Delhi Location.

- As the Chief Operating Officer (COO), he/she will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and optimizing efficiency across various departments. Collaborate with CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, operations strategy.

- Responsible for Overseeing key operational functions including but not only limited to Risk Management Services, Operations, Audit, Depository Services, Account Opening, and Margin Trade Funding etc.

- Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning.

- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of robust risk management processes and procedures.

- Oversee depository operations and ensure seamless processing of demat accounts and related services. Maintain strong relationships with depository participants and regulatory authorities.

- Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners and stakeholders.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk policies of local business regulations and take appropriate action when necessary.

- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments.

- Manage margin trade funding operations, including span margin, VAR margin, and margin reporting. Implement strategies to optimize margin utilization while maintaining risk controls.

- Manage capital investments and expenses aggressively to ensure that the company achieves investor targets for growth and profitability.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in operations management within the financial services industry, with a focus on stock broking.

- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.

- Strong understanding of risk management principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common goals.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
