Job Summary:

The COO will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company, including retail and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing retail operations, large-scale equipment such as boilers, and frozen foods technology. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive operational efficiency, foster a high-performance culture, and support the company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Leadership: Oversee the company's daily operations, including production, logistics, retail, and supply chain management.

2. Retail Management: Develop and implement strategies to optimize retail operations, enhance customer experience, and maximize sales across multiple outlets.

3. Infrastructure Oversight: Manage large-scale manufacturing equipment, including boilers and frozen foods technology, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

4. Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality standards in production and distribution.

5. Team Management: Lead and mentor operations teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and excellence.

6. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute long-term business strategies that align with the company's goals.

7. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations adhere to industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

8. Budget Management: Develop and manage operational budgets, focusing on cost efficiency and resource optimization.

9. Technology Integration: Leverage technology to streamline operations, improve data-driven decision-making, and enhance overall business performance.

10. Vendor and Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant master's degree preferred.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the food manufacturing or FMCG sector.

- Proven track record of managing retail operations and large-scale manufacturing equipment, including boilers and frozen foods technology.

- Strong understanding of production processes, supply chain management, and quality control in the food industry.

- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to drive team performance and foster a collaborative work environment.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency and process improvement.

- Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and optimizing costs.
