Position : Chief Operating Officer.

Qualification : CA/ MBA.

Job Role :

- Accountable for the existing business, growth and profitability of clients business by providing market leading trustee services, people management, business planning and business development strategies, whilst continually staying abreast of new business opportunities and continually enhancing Trusts market share, product offering and reputation within the Asian market place.

- Ensure prompt and efficient services are delivered to all existing and new clients- in key areas of the business including Australian managed investment schemes, exempt funds, custodial services and trustee roles for exempt/regulated funds.

- Ensuring The Trust Company's operational model is in line with the company's regional client service model.

- Assist in the AML/KYC documentation, opening of bank accounts, preparation and review of operational manual for client mandates.

- Ensure all statutory and business obligations are met and exceptional client services is provided to existing and new clients.

- Lead an operational team which administers a portfolio of clients and funds both retail and wholesale, listed and unlisted, from time to time.

- Act as the client relationship manager to Singaporean clients with investments in Australia to ensure client need are met and appropriate trustee obligations are complied with.

- Work with external parties including lawyers, accountants, tax consultants and auditors to prepare all documents required to set up corporate trusts, exempt funds or special purpose vehicles.

- Work directly with attorneys and clients Through client on boarding, legal documentation, account Opening, closing and ongoing corporate transactions and activities thereafter.

- The trust assets could include settlement of property, company shares and/or other assets as set out in the legal documentation.

- Review financial statements of the Company, of schemes, funds, trusts before sign off, client investment submissions and other business submissions as and when required and draft recommendations to the board for sign off.

Experience Requirements :

- Ability to be qualified as Resident Manager desirable but not necessary

- At least 5 years experience in managing a team of professionals in the financial services sector

- At least 5 years experience managing a remote office and reporting back to board level/executive management team level.

- At least 5 years exposure corporate finance in Asian markets.

- Knowledge of corporate/institutional financial services markets.

- Relevant tertiary qualification in finance,commerce,economics or related field

- Post tertiary management qualification desirable,preferably a CA/CPA.
