We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our executive team and drive operational excellence across the organization.
Job Summary:
The COO will be responsible for overseeing the company's day- to- day operational functions, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the wealth management industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing complex operations, including Portfolio Management Services (PMS) and licensing requirements. The COO will work closely with the CEO and other senior executives to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company's vision and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Lead and manage all operational functions, including client services, account management, compliance, and IT infrastructure.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive growth and operational efficiency.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve client satisfaction.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all operations comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Oversee risk management strategies and implement controls to mitigate operational risks.
- PMS Management: Oversee the Portfolio Management Services (PMS) operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering high- quality service to clients.
- Licensing: Manage all aspects of licensing, ensuring that the company and its employees maintain the necessary licenses to operate in the wealth management industry.
- Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high- performing operations team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and excellence.
- Technology Integration: Drive the adoption of technology solutions to streamline operations and enhance the client experience.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate operational performance. Provide regular reports and insights to the executive team.
- Client Focus: Maintain a client- centric approach in all operational activities, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in operational leadership roles, preferably within the wealth management or financial services industry.
- Extensive experience in managing Portfolio Management Services (PMS) operations.
- Proven experience in handling licensing requirements within the financial services sector.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of wealth management operations and regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record in managing complex operations and driving process improvements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
