Chief Operating Officer - Microfinance

- COO position for a leading micro-finance company, headquartered in Southern India

- Spearhead a strategic plan for operations to achieve key operational goals like outreach, Loan outstanding, revenue, profitability, and portfolio performance while understanding risks and opportunities in each strategy

- Strategize and effect ways to penetrate New markets

- Coordinate with Risk team to be aware of risks to companies operations and develop plans to mitigate

- Design and deploy new products and ensure their smooth release to market

- Prepare, review and drive periodically quarterly, half- yearly and quarterly business plans

- Evaluate performance of executives for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company

- Represent the company at the appropriate business forums

- Drive the agenda as a a core member of the executive management team

- Implement audit findings and adopt measures to continuously improve operational efficiency-

- Lead and motivate a large team spread across a wide geography

- Deploy mechanisms to dynamically shift assets across various geographic markets to leverage maximum efficiency

- Oversee preparation of standard operating procedures/ manuals for all aspects of operations and ensure that all employees follow the SOP

- MBA from top tier institutes ONLY

- Communication, Interpersonal, Customer-centricity, Target-driven, business acumen,BFSI (NBFC/microfinance background preferable)
