1. COO – Mall Operations

A. Key Job Responsibilities:

(1) Responsible for the full time business operations of the Group’s foray in Mall Operations which deals in Leasing and maintenance of Mall cum Shopping Complex and Operations of Cinema Hall, Family entertainment Centre and develop retail business for the group within the Mall.

(2) Responsible for leasing, maintenance and operations of group’s business in the Mall such as Cineplex, family entertainment and retail stores i.e. completely responsible for P&L of the business.

(3) Formulation and implementation of effective marketing and sales strategies

(4) Achieving sales and profit target on a sustained basis.

(5) Maintaining strong relationships with the tenants, principal suppliers for retail stores, customers, etc.

(6) Negotiating with suppliers, vendors, etc.

(7) Designs and ensures implementation of a system for tracking and monitoring relevant operational MIS. Trends depicted by the MIS are to be assessed and communicated to all on a predefined frequency highlighting priorities and improvements achieved.

(8) Establish and maintain appropriate internal cost control procedures for the business operations.

(9) Timely Submission of MIS Reports to the Management.

(10) Responsible for Human Resources.

B.Education and Experience

Management graduate, with specialization in Mall Management, retail stores, marketing & finance, from a reputed business school from India with at least 20+ years of post-qualification experience in similar field particularly in Mega Mall or shopping cum office complex involving retail stores which are Mall owners driven.

10+ years in similar management position preferably in Eastern Africa.
