Roles and Responsibilities:
- Setting up Supply Chain models / Logistics for clients across India for Retail, Warehousing & Distribution.
- Controlling Operational Expenses in the branches.
- Setting up SOPs for efficient service levels to meet the needs of clients as per SLA's agreed
- Liaisioning with Vendors &Suppliers for Operational Consumables needed at Branches
- Handling international & QA Audits of clients.
- Managing 3rd Party Audits for Quality & Inventory.
- Measuring KRAs & KPIs of operations staff.
- Executing projects in a time bound manner with various project related activities such as planning, solution engineering.
- Liaising with external agencies for getting statutory compliances for the Warehouses / Logistics.
- To assign and direct all work performed in the branches and to supervise all areas of operation. To manage staff, foster a positive environment and ensure customer satisfaction and proper branch operation. Needs hands-on approach and will commit to expand for a successful business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales targets achievement.
Duties and responsibilities
- Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration and sales
- Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
- Bring out the best of the branch's personnel by providing training, coaching, development, and motivation
- Develop Quality standards in alignment with Company vision
- Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions for optimal Productivity and efficiency in operations
- Drive and deliver Cost in alignment with business plans and growth
- Innovate new models of Warehousing with effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs
- Adhere to high ethical and Legal standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws
- Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company
- On time reports to be maintained and communicated to the clients.
- Inventory management
- Developing and implementing key strategies for the purchase of materials from sources; achieving cost reduction in procurement and packaging.
- Managing effective & efficient costing system resulting in cost reduction, business process and procedures for improving performances.
- Interacting with key influencers among clients for ascertaining requirements, making presentations and delivering need base product solutions.
- Aligning with customer claims & discrepancies sending the feedback to the concerned department.
- Leading, training & monitoring the performance of the team members to ensure efficiency in operations and meeting of individual & group targets.
- Creating and sustaining a dynamic environment that fosters the development opportunities and motivates the high performance amongst the team members.
