Chief Operating Officer - Infrastructure Cluster

A leading infrastructure in the Middle East company for its Infrastructure Cluster, seeks Chief Operation Officer (COO) to lead our Infrastructure Cluster, responsible for driving the overall strategy, vision, and execution of our diverse portfolio of businesses. The successful candidate will have proven experience leading large-scale organizations in the Infrastructure sector and be responsible for delivering P&L results, driving growth, and providing leadership for our team in the organization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or other relevant post-graduate degree is highly desirable.

- Previous work experience in leadership roles for multiple businesses is strongly preferred, with IIT and IIM graduates preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and drive the overall strategy for the Infrastructure Cluster, including Construction, Heat Transfer Solutions, Hospitality Infrastructure Solutions, ICT Solutio ns, Marine Solutions, Transport Solutions, Environmental Services, and General Industrial solutions

- Strong financial acumen, with experience managing complex P&Ls and driving revenue growth, Deliver P&L results for the Infrastructure Cluster, managing costs, and driving revenue growth across all businesses

- Managing working capital and capital employed in the business and responsible for delivering budgeted Return of Capital employed.

- Extensive exposure to Customer Service, Facility, Liaison with Government for Approvals, Project Management, Technical, Project Management, Business Development, Customer Service, Execution, Legal Formalities, and Technical Services.

- Responsible for Execution of projects, Project monitoring Engineering, contracts, Tendering, procurement, planning & budgeting, cost monitoring, product quality, safety, estimation, etc.

- Ensure effective risk management across the Infrastructure businesses, identifying and mitigating potential risks to the organization

- Experience of managing a diverse portfolio of businesses, including Construction, ICT, Air-condition distribution, office furniture, Marine Business, Engineering Products Services, and Waste Management

- Provide leadership and direction to the Infrastructure team, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and strategic priorities

- Actively engage with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and government entities, to ensure continued growth and success of the Infrastructure businesses

- Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making and ensure competitive advantage

- Lead and motivate subordinates to advance employee engagement and develop a high-performing managerial team. Overseeing all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to the senior leadership team, fostering a culture of excellence and driving accountability across the organization

- Coordinate with central functions of HR, Finance, IT, Treasury, legal for implementation of policies
