Objectives of this role:
- Collaborate with Top Management in setting and driving organizational vision, operations strategy, and hiring levels
- Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning
- Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture that ensures team members can thrive and that organizational goals are met
- Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention
- Ensure compliance with national and local business regulations, and take appropriate action when necessary
Key Responsibilities:
- Chief Operating Officer would head the entire PAN India Operations for "XX
- He/she will be managing all centre managers, senior ops managers and cluster heads will report to him.
- The position would be reporting to Chairman & the MD.
- The position would be responsible for organizational development in collaboration with department heads of admin, HR, marketing, finance.
- Foster collaboration between departments, staff leadership, and other services to support improvements in patient outcomes
- Manage workforce decisions and resource allocation for the organization
- Develop strategic plans to improve quality of care, generate revenue, and accomplish organizational objectives
- Support departments in maintaining regulatory compliance under standards set by The Eye Foundation.
- Analyze budgets and financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Implement policies that promote company culture and vision.
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders
Required skills and qualifications:
- Five or more years of experience in executive leadership roles
- Seasoned professional with 15+ years of experience having hands on experience in running operations of a healthcare unit.
- Must have experience in Hospital/Diagnostics or any other Healthcare set up of repute
- Preferred degree in Healthcare
- The candidate should be from South India
- Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
- Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues
- Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
- Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential is
- Understanding of the unique needs and challenges that healthcare organizations face
- Strong leadership skills at all organizational levels
- Excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills
- Complex problem-solving skills in individual and group settings
- Demonstrated success leading improvement initiatives
- Ability to work with staff to promote a culturally competent workplace
