Job Description:
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- P&L Leadership: Proven experience managing the P&L for a business with a revenue of INR 50 crore or more.
- B2B Revenue Expertise: Strong expertise in B2B revenue generation, consultative selling, and relationship management.
- Operational Excellence: Demonstrated experience driving day-to-day operations, setting up processes, and ensuring teams meet objectives with high execution rigor.
- Relationship Building: Strong existing relationships with decision-makers in the business and policy ecosystem.
- A proven track record of building and sustaining these relationships.
- Content & Business Acumen: Ability to balance content strategy with broader business outcomes. Deep understanding of the business and policy landscape, especially at the intersection of startups, media, and technology.
- Growth Focus: Demonstrated experience in driving user growth, audience engagement, and retention across multiple platforms.
- Leadership & Accountability: Experience managing cross-functional teams with a focus on accountability, governance, and performance tracking.
- Founder Collaboration: Ability to work closely with the founder, setting and reviewing objectives and aligning the company's direction with her vision.
- In this role, you will drive the end-to-end operations of the company, oversee growth, and ensure our business objectives are met. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the P&L, daily operations, and the delivery of high-quality content and services.
- You will work closely with the founder, the CFO and the head of HR to shape the future of the business.
Key Objectives:
1. P&L Management: Lead the company's Profit & Loss statement with a focus on profitability, revenue growth, and cost efficiency.
2. End-to-End Operations: Oversee day-to-day business operations across multiple teams, ensuring smooth coordination and high-quality delivery.
3. Content Strategy & Execution: Ensure alignment of all content (editorial, social media, events) with the company's brand positioning and business objectives.
4. Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition, partnerships, and strategic deals.
5. Team Leadership: Foster a high-performing and lean team, motivated team culture with strong operational rigor and collaboration.
6. Governance & Accountability: Implement effective governance systems, ensuring alignment with the objectives set by the founder.
