It also has a multidisciplinary skilled and experienced Engineering & PMC division which provides a comprehensive array of value added technical engineering services, in a structured manner, across diverse sectors. It is fully geared to service global clients by providing end-to-end engineering solutions from feasibility studies and scope documents to design conceptualization, FEED, detailed design, PMC, field engineering, commissioning and start-up assistance and also debottlenecking for efficient plant operations.
To augment our Engineering Division in view of proposed expansion and globalisation plans, they are looking for a qualified and seasoned professional (30+ years experience) for Engineering Division.
Key Deliverables:
- Develop business strategy, drive growth, valuations, and implement the strategic business plan for Engineering Division.
- Work closely with senior management in creating the vision, core values, and strategy required for both short and long-term value creation and profitable growth.
- Ensure that this vision and strategy are clearly and effectively communicated to and understood by all employees, shareholders and external stakeholders.
- Ensure that the leadership team is aligned with the organization strategy and works together towards a common goal - improving operational performance, achieving revenue targets and enhancing valuation.
- Direct overall affairs of the division with the objective of maximizing cash flows, optimizing capital allocation and financial performance while delivering maximum shareholder value.
- Provide oversight for the day-to-day activities of the business, develop of new business opportunities, manage key stakeholder relationships with the objective of maximizing profitability and growth.
- Articulate and promote values associated with operational excellence, project development, workplace safety, environmental best practices, exemplary business ethics, integrity and entrepreneurship. Demonstrate leadership in ensuring stated commitments to corporate social responsibility, cultural and environmental sustainability are met.
- Bring continued leadership credibility and build solid reputation with the local and global investment community.
- Responsible for brand management and appropriate positioning of the business, ensuring a stellar valuation of the business.
- Build market share in each of the service and product segments, together with exploring new ventures and business opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of the corporate strategy, ensure risks and commercial opportunities, including potential M&A transactions
- Ensure that Engineering Division continues to look for opportunities to grow the business through business development activities - including M&A - and ensure the resources and processes are in place to make smart, strategic decisions which will result in longterm value creation.
- Effectively prepare for and represent the company in any media or community relations matters or legal proceedings that arise from operation of the business.
- Systematically plan for the development, retention, and continuity of a talented senior executive team capable of achieving long-term sustainable growth.
- Ensure that succession plan for key critical position is in place to maintain business continuity.
- Effectively communicate with all employees to keep them enthused and motivated to achieve the goals of the company.
The Person:
- 30+ years of experience in an International / Indian Engineering Company engaged in Energy, Minerals & Metals and Infrastructure Sector of similar size and scale with at least 8 to 10 years in a similar position.
- An astute professional with high commercial acumen having wide network with Global Technology Partners in Energy, Minerals & Metals and Infrastructure Sector.
- Should have demonstrated ability to motivate and lead teams of highly skilled and experienced personnel having diverse cultural backgrounds.
- A global professional having travelled, worked, and interacted with both internal and external stakeholders in different locations.
- Brings the requisite gravitas and executive presence, with relevant network of contacts.
- Experience in representing industry forums/chambers of commerce.
- Should possess high commercial acumen
