We are hiring a Chief Operating officer for our of our premium client in Education Sector.

Job Description :

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) shall be responsible for leading all the business verticals and overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of the organization. This role is crucial in ensuring that all aspects of the organization run smoothly, efficiently, and align with its strategic goals.

Below is a detailed job description :

Operational Leadership:

1. Develop and implement operational strategies that support the overall mission and vision of the organisation.

2. Oversee the daily operations of the organization, including academic programs, administrative services, and student support functions.

3. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and legal requirements.

4. Drive continuous improvement in operational processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Strategic Planning:

1. Responsible for policy decision making with the Chairman & Directors for ensuring organization growth

2. Collaborate with the HODs and important staff to develop and execute long-term strategic plans.

3. Lead the execution of the organization's strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the institution's goals.

4. Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.

Financial Management:

5. Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure financial stability and sustainability.

6. Manage financial performance, including revenue growth, cost control, and profitability.

7. Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with financial regulations.

Human Resources Management:

1. Lead and manage the human resources function, including recruitment, training, development, and performance management.

2. Foster a positive organizational culture that supports professional growth, collaboration, and diversity.

3. Ensure effective communication across all levels of the organization.

Student Experience:

1. Oversee student services and support functions, ensuring a high-quality student experience.

2. Work closely with academic leaders to ensure that educational programs meet the needs of students and adhere to high standards.

3. Implement initiatives to enhance student retention, satisfaction, and success.

Technology and Innovation:

4. Lead the integration of technology into the operational and educational processes.

5. Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and educational delivery.

6. Stay abreast of emerging educational technologies and their potential applications within the organization.

Risk Management and Compliance:

1. Identify potential risks to the organization and develop mitigation strategies.

2. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

3. Oversee health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe learning environment.

Stakeholder Engagement:

1. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, parents, and community partners.

2. Represent the organization at external events, conferences, and meetings.

3. Work with the marketing and communications teams to promote the organisation and its programs.

Minimum Education - MBA - Marketing from a Premier Institute

Working Experience - 20+ years

Should have been working as COO / CEO for atleast 3-4 years in a large multi locational reputed organisation with proven high performance delivery track record
