Chief Operating Officer - Auto Ancillary - Vadodara

Overall purpose of the job :

- Ensure efficient and effective day to day operations of the Company and serve as a liaison between Department Heads and senior Leadership

Main Activities/ Tasks :

- Overall responsibility of overseeing Operations (Production, PPC, Maintenance, Purchase/ SCM, Quality, Plant HR/IR ) of the Top management Tier 1 Company .

Special Requirements :

1) Currently working in the in a tier 1 supplier company handling a turnover between 1000 - 2000 crores.

2) Production experience in early part of the career in Press shop, Tool room, Heat treatment of pressed parts, Assembly operations & Machine shop.

3) Exposure to quality/ Projects/ ME & Industrial Engineering in later part of career.

4) Management Philosophy: Lead & Implemented one or more of the modern plant management techniques (TQM/ 5S/ 6 Sigma/ Lean/ Policy Deployment),

5) Dual experience of working in professional & family owned companies.

6) Age 47- 53 Years

- Understanding of dynamics of auto components business, sharp focus, eyes for details, analytical skills, operational excellence, ability to conceptualize and create plans and translate strategy into action, personally effective and ability to manage people, deep customer focus, result orientation and innovative approach.

Financial & HR Exposure Desirable :

- B. E (Mech/ Auto).

- MBA Desirable.

- 20-30 years in Automotive/ Engineering industry
