Chief Operating Officer

About:

The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations and P&L across multiple manufacturing units at different locations, implementing manufacturing strategies and processes, and executing an effective operational strategy.

This includes managing processing, operations, maintenance, production scheduling, logistics, procurement, warehousing, quality assurance, and establishing plant policies and procedures.

Ensuring that health, safety, and environmental standards are prioritized and facilitated is also a key responsibility.

Responsibilities:

- Implement manufacturing strategies and effective operational plans to achieve strategic goals.

- Drive operational excellence initiatives, including process improvement, workflow optimization, and automation.

- Drive key strategic initiatives and business metrics.

- Take both strategic and tactical responsibility for manufacturing strategy and operational goals.

- Ensure maximum utilization of manpower, materials, and machinery.

- Provide technical support to production units as needed.

- Coordinate new projects and ensure their timely implementation.

- Ensure that all goods are produced to meet customer product orders (both local and export).

- Build and maintain strong, effective relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Qualifications and Experience: B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 18 years of experience in managing operations across multiple manufacturing units in the Automobile, Heavy Machinery, Industrial Machinery, or Equipment Manufacturing sectors, with exposure to SPM (Special Purpose Machinery) and machinery customization
