- Reporting directly to the CEO and Managing Director, the Chief of Staff (COS) provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship.
- The Chief of Staff (COS) serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the CEO. The Chief of Staff (COS) also serves as a liaison to the board of directors and senior management teams; organizes and coordinates executive weekly cadence & reviews; and oversees special projects. The COS must be creative and enjoy working within a small (200 people), entrepreneurial environment that is value-driven, results-driven and team oriented.
- The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
- Act as the point person for the CEO in ensuring effective operations of all related teams/departments. Streamline the processes to enable high-performance of the executive team, with the external and internal stakeholders.
- Be a force multiplier. Create accessibility and availability in the CEO's schedule. Effective stand-in representative, when the CEO is needed - at both key internal as well as client meetings.
- Manage project planning, overseeing and timely completion of functions headed and assigned by the CEO. Preparing budget, monitoring progress and seamless information sharing to stakeholders, as advised by the CEO.
- Needs to solve problems, mediate disputes, and deal with issues before they are brought to the chief executive. Act as a confidant and advisor to the chief executive, serve as a sounding board for ideas.
- Operate at a tactical, strategic and operational level, handling the oversight of activities that do not neatly fit within the organizational chart or that fall between departments or leadership areas of responsibility.
