Job Summary:


We are seeking a dynamic and highly driven Chief of Staff Sales to support the Executive Director Sales in driving strategic initiatives, streamlining business operations, and ensuring execution excellence across the sales function. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in FMCG sales, strategic planning, and team coordination to support rapid growth and business performance.


Key Responsibilities:


- Act as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to the Executive Director - Sales.

- Drive alignment across the sales organization by coordinating key projects, reviews, and performance initiatives.

- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive strategic planning, goal setting, and business performance reviews.

- Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making.

- Lead business reviews and prepare high-impact presentations, reports, and dashboards for leadership.


- Monitor key performance metrics and drive corrective actions where needed.


- Enable effective communication between sales leadership and internal/external stakeholders.


- Identify operational gaps and opportunities to optimize sales processes, team efficiency, and go-to-market strategies.


- Lead special projects and transformation initiatives as directed by the Executive Director.


Key Requirements:


- 10+ years of progressive experience in Sales with a focus on FMCG.

- Proven track record in leading or managing cross-functional sales projects or business operations.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.


- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficiency in tools such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems, and BI dashboards.


Preferred Attributes:


- Prior experience working directly with C-Suite leadership.


- Exposure to modern trade, general trade, or rural distribution models.

- Strong understanding of channel sales, P&L, and retail execution.
