Job Title : Chief of Staff

Function : Business Strategy

Objectives of this Role :

- Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and departmental heads.

- Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.

- Review, design, and execute on improvements to org structure, find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them.

- Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities :

- Serve as liaison between staff, executives, senior leaders, and CEO, regarding company climate, employee well-being, project updates, proposals, and planning.

- Assist the human resources department with new hires, including documentation and onboarding, and collaborate to address and resolve all employee concerns.

- Oversee daily operations through collaboration with senior management and department leaders.

- Build and develop relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and help to define new operational strategies, working with MD and executives on special projects.

- Serve as a subject matter expert, handling inquiries and developing action plans to address them, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications.

1. Problem Identification & Solution :

a. Identifying problems around business stability & growth

b. Providing multiple solution options with their financial & non-financial impact

2. Analytics & MIS :

a. Responsible for creating and sharing reports that monitor all aspects of the business

b. Responsible for analyzing business trends, their impact on business, suggesting mitigation options

c. Responsible for data modelling

3. Business Plan + P&L :

a. Responsible for creation of business plans, unit economic models and future estimates/projections

b. Create and monitor all Competitor activities and numbers

c. Responsible for P&L analysis and identification of possible pitfalls, trends, corrections, explanation to field teams

4. Market Landscape :

a. Work closely with the acquisition team to determine the product and feasibility, along with delivering a project report - demand planning, pricing & target segment.

b. Go to market creation plan for the product.

c. Scan the market for new business models and co-create new models.

5. Skills and Qualifications :

a. Master's degree in Business Administration or similar field

b. 7+ years in a business or executive management role

c. Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments

d. Excellent communicator in written and verbal form

e. Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity

f. Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives

6. Preferred Qualifications :

a. Experience with data analysis

b. Experience with budget management

c. Consulting experience with a focus on operations management

d. Proven success in a project coordination role

e. Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions

f. Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication
