Chief Of Staff - Conglomerate Group

TheCompany is an engineering & manufacturing company part of the larger Conglomerate Group. The group a 120+ year conglomerate, with a revenue of USD 7Bn and a market cap of USD 25Bn+ having about 60,000 employees.

Job Responsibilities:

- Ideation and implementation special projects from Chairmans office across newly identified growth sectors such as Electric Vehicles, Electronics, Medical devices, etc.

- Developing GTM strategies for the required verticals

- Monitoring, reporting and impact measurement on critical projects to the Chairman

- Assessing market trends and keeping track of competitors to identify threats/ opportunities

- Review performance of business verticals and identifying solutions & implementing them

- Work closely with business teams to identify initiatives and drive actions change across identified projects

- Supporting and guiding senior executive decision-making processes

- Assisting M&A team in identifying opportunities, due diligence & deal closure

Requirements:

Education:

- B. tech from IITs or Chartered Accountancy

- Masters degree from IIMs or ISB(Hyderabad) or leading global universities

Experience/ Skill-set:

- 8-15 years work experience with 6-8 years work experience in management consulting, strategic planning, or any other strategy role; Candidates with experience of working in top tier consulting firms (Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Accenture) preferred

- Experience of working on client facing role with in person interactions preferred over remote location

- Deep expertise on strategy projects and a detailed understanding of business operations and procedures

- Strong research and analytical abilities & project management skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Experience of managing a team

Location: Mumbai; Domestic travel expected as part of the job
