For a new practice in the BIG 4 consulting company. MNC, US headquartered, looking to hire a person for the India - Delhi/ Gurgaon office.

Role Description:

We need a person to set up the staffing operations. In any consulting organization, consultants have to be matched to studies/ Projects- based on skills, expertise, availability and aspirations. While, a lot of this data can be automated, via algorithms, this process continues to be led by a person- who has a deep understanding of the business/ projects and the people in the organization.

We are looking for a person to lead and develop this function. This is a new role being created in the organization, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about understanding people and enjoys, finding the right opportunities for the right person and will lead this team.

The role reports into the business partner of talent and not HR; It is a business role. Business consultants keen to move into professional development will find this role interesting. HR leaders keen on this role- will also be considered.

Key Skills:

- Stakeholder management and political savviness

- Business Acumen to understand the business needs/ project needs in depth

- Counselling/ coaching skills to be able to help - consultant- engage in a career pathing conversations

- Patience, persistence and motivation to deal with ambiguity which comes with projects and constant changing resource requirements

- Agility and resourcefulness

- Analytics savviness/ Tech savviness to find new ways of automating the process where possible

- Drive decision making with senior leaders- ability to articulate - why a certain person is better for the project vs another

- Conflict management/ personality management

Key Performance Indicator:

- Utilization rates across organization

- Employee engagement and tenure within organization- career growth

Key Deliverables:

- Lead resourcing and staffing function of the group

- Automating processes that require minimal human intervention to bring efficiency and transparency

- Drive decision making and utilization of teams/ consultants

- Provide input in HIRING DECISIONs for the group

- Provide inputs/ enable career pathing/ professional development of consultants

Expected qualifications:

- Experience with large scale program management and resourcing

- A consultant passionate about HR

- Knowledge about HR good, not critical; Interest in HR important.

- Business acumen, tech orientation, Analytical skills
