Chief Marketing Officer (RPO or BPO/ITES)

Responsibilities:


- Develop marketing plan designed to grow market share, boost sales, increase brand awareness, and meet revenue goals.

- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing department

- Set, monitor and report on team goals

- Design branding, positioning and pricing strategies

- Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material)

- Monitors direct competitors, tracks marketing and economic trends, and research customer to develop promotional strategies and grow customer demand for services.

- Grows market share by supporting the sales staff and creating marketing programs across service lines.

- Identifies short- and long-term issues that might hinder sales and marketing efforts and devises strategies to address these challenges by advising sales and senior leadership and giving directives to marketing staff.

- Grows brand recognition and secures customer loyalty by strengthening customer relations procedures and overseeing company presence at conventions, trade shows, and seminars, and involvement in professional associations.

- Provides market research to developers to help determine future avenues for business growth by finding new uses for existing service and direction for new development.

- Oversees marketing and promotions budget and scheduling expenditures.

- Hires, manages, and mentors marketing staff, providing assessment, coaching, and professional development support.

- Maintains and develops relationships with outside agencies, vendors, consultants, and freelance staff.

- Develops professional expertise by researching customer behaviour, marketing best practices, and technical advances relevant to the field, attending professional conferences and workshops, and participating in professional associations.

Qualification And Experience:

1. MBA with 15 years' experience in progressively challenging marketing & communications positions with a RPO or BPO/ITES Industry.

2. Exceptional research, writing, editing, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

3. Strong diplomatic and persuasive skills.

4. Demonstrated ability to manage reputational risk.

5. A successful track record of managing new media and digital channels, including website development. Proven record of forging strong and effective relationships within the media environment and with internal stakeholders.

6. Experience leading teams and providing work direction to others.

7. Experience managing external vendor relationships and effectively negotiating prices and services. Experience in event management.

8. Proficient in handling internal/external brand building and communication activities and prioritizing against tight deadlines.

9. Experience in selection and managing execution partners such as PR, Digital and creative agency for agreed SLA.

10. Experience in designing & executing PR, Events and BTL led communication strategies. Own and lead campaign design and delivery to meet ROI.

11. An out of the box thinker with a flair of charting out corporate communication and branding strategies. Excellent writing and editing skills required.

12. Strong interpersonal skills.

13. Creative flair and enthusiasm for new ideas and concepts.

14. Strong creative and graphic design sense, knowledge of design software (Adobe Creative Suite) a plus.

15. Ability to work successfully with cross-functional teams.

16. Demonstrate good skills in advising and influencing stakeholders on different communications strategies to engage employees.
