Job Description
Our client is looking to hire a Chief Marketing Officer who will be responsible for driving overall Corporate Strategy by focusing on Revenue, Brand and Customer Relations, and Management.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for P&L.
- Plan and monitor yearly and long term marketing and business development plans to meet the overall goal of increasing revenues and sustained growth.
- Responsible for New Business & organic growth within retained accounts
- Evaluates potential business development opportunities to ensure profitability and competitiveness. This role requires sourcing optimal transport solutions and maximising potential earnings while optimising costs. - Identify potential revenue opportunities in sectors such as Steel, Cement and other dry bulk commodities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to provide integrated services to meet client's requirements.
- Analyse the freight market to review existing trends and develop new strategies based on supply and demand He/She would drive growth initiatives and will be responsible for deployment of Long Haul Trailers through contacts, market research for cargo positions, developing leads and contracting agreements.
- Monitor market conditions and freight rates in the industry and reporting of major contracts and outcomes of tender awards.
- Liaise and interact with internal business and develop synergy for transportation of their cargo.
- Develop, negotiate and ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness of all finalized terms of projects and business.
- Lead and manage, Direct sales and marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Event Marketing and Internal Creative Services
- Formulate business growth proposals for fleet expansion
- Establish excellent working relationship with clients.
- Create, Develop and retain a team of committed people who would deliver the agenda for the Business Development team.
- Collaborating with various Sales Channels in the organization for improving Growth Trajectory.
- Candidate will be responsible for Marketing Company owned fleet of LNG Fueled Trucks for on a continuous basis with a focus on Long Haul Bulk Cargo segment for Pan India.
- He/she would drive growth initiatives and will be responsible for deployment of Long Haul Trailers through contacts, market research for cargo positions, developing leads and contracting agreements.
Eligibility
- Master degree in business/marketing or equivalent degree in Sales and Marketing with minimum 15-20 years of experience in Marketing & Commercial for a Large Trucking Business.
- Must have good network and contacts with key decision makers, proven track-record in business development in the Surface Transport business.
