CMO / Head of Marketing - FMCG

Role Overview :

The CMO/Head of Marketing will be responsible for leading the marketing function and developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth in the FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Marketing :

- Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy to drive brand growth and market share in the FMCG sector.

- Identify new market opportunities and consumer insights to enhance brand positioning and product offerings.

Brand Management:

- Lead brand building initiatives, including brand positioning, messaging, and creative development.

- Monitor and analyze brand performance and market trends to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Digital Marketing and E-commerce:

- Oversee digital marketing campaigns, social media strategy, and e-commerce initiatives to enhance online presence and customer engagement.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive integrated marketing campaigns and promotional activities.

Product Marketing and Innovation:

- Lead product marketing efforts, including product launches, packaging, and pricing strategies.

- Foster innovation and product development to meet consumer needs and market demands.

Team Leadership and Development:

- Provide strong leadership and direction to the marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

- Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Qualifications:

- MBA / PGDM from premier B-Schools with a graduation year between 2000-2003.

- Minimum of 20 of experience in marketing, with a focus on the FMCG sector at a leadership level.

- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing marketing strategies, brand building, and driving sales growth.

- Strong understanding of the FMCG market dynamics, consumer behavior, and industry trends.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
