Designation : Chief Marketing Officer
Reporting to : CEO
Profile :
Budgeting & Planning :
- Understand the product budget based on sales feedback & market potential, formulate ATL / BTL budget category wise, present to management, finalize budget, formulate month wise plan of spending, track & monitor performance, modify if required in order to achieve budget & support sales
Brand Management :
- Understand the budget, targets & product line up for the year, analyze competitor activity, based on past performance & market potential formulate the plan along with product management, plan the broad activities category wise along with product management, allocation of budget investment wise & month wise, obtain feedback & modify the communication plan in order to achieve targets in specified areas
Media Management :
- Interact with media agencies, shortlist & negotiate rates, communicate to advertisement agency, release directly or coordinate for release, strike barter deals in order to maximize profitability & manage relations with media agencies
Communication Strategy :
- Analyze past performance & competitor trends, finalize communication channel & data sources, study existing processes, modify & improve, communicate the strategy to team members, discuss with supervisor in order to ensure focused & effective communication
Advertisement Agency Management :
- Identify & shortlist agencies, participate in final selection, negotiate & finalize terms, involve product management group, coordinate & provide brief for critical advertisements, monitor coordination in regular cases, maintain cordial relations with the agencies, resolve escalations, evaluate performance, provide feedback in order to ensure right advertisements at the right time within the right cost
Retail Sales Support :
- Finalize suppliers based on credential analysis, monitor printing of POPs & fabrications, track performance & take feedback from the regions, address requirements & resolve escalations in order to ensure prominent retail presence
People Management :
- Participate in selection of team, set KRAs in consultation, monitor performance, appraise team members, nominate for external training program, guide & counsel, provide growth opportunities in order to enhance motivation & productivity levels
