Chief Manager - Quality - Personal Care & Herbal Wellness

- Must have worked in Personal care Company (1st Priority). Must have sound knowledge of Quality aspects of various personal care categories such as Shampoos, Conditioners, Body lotions etc.

- Must have atleast experience of 7 year

- Must be Subject Matter expert - Knowledge of Key Ingredient used in Personal Care.

- Must have some exposure to projects (Not must)

- Must have experience of handling Process on Personal care product - RM/PM, Mfg, Application, Vendor audits , Trouble shooting & Regulation

- Must have Knowledge of complete Mfg process

- Must have worked in established set up of large FMCG companies.

- Must have handled various quality certifications

- Handled exports certification not must

- Must be conversant with Drug & Cosmetic act regulations and dealt with Regulatory body

- Must have handled SAP QM & PM module

- Must be conversant with quality control operations.

- Must have good experience of Blending & Compounding.

- Implement Quality Management system at Factory

- Establish protocols for process and Packaging SOP's, Protocol, batch records, analytical records & Manuals

- Establish Guidelines for Raw material / packaging/ Intermediate /Finished material testing and deviation

- Guide for microbiological testing for Raw material and Products

- FG defect analysis/Batch release analysis

- Lead in investigation and approval of events (deviations), temporary changes non-conformance, out of specification (OOS) results and failures.

- Management of change controls of products, process, test method, equipment's and facilities.

- Monitoring and approval of validation activities such as process validation, cleaning verification and validation, analytical method validations.

- Monitoring and approval of qualification activities of equipment / instruments

- Monitoring and approval of calibration and preventive maintenance program for manufacturing equipment and laboratory equipment and instruments.

- Management and final closure of internal and external audits.

- To coordinate with various functions such as manufacturing, engineering, R&D, Purchase, Marketing as per requirement.

- Control sample handling and preservation

- Review of Control samples

- Monitoring for self-inspections or quality audits for effectiveness and applicability of quality system.

- Evaluation and investigation of customer complaints and implementation of corrective and preventive actions; as applicable.

- Market and competitive sample analysis and action

- MIS reports

- Vendor audit and new vendor approvals

- Artwork approval for packaging and claims

- Ensure regulatory compliance to FDA and weights and measures requirements on continuous basis.

- Coordinate with R&D for new product commercialization.
