Global Transaction Service Group
Global Transaction Services Group is the Product & Product Sales function that provides product expertise to the various segments of the Bank, spanning the Consumer Bank, Commercial Bank and Wholesale Banking divisions. Products range from cash management (payment & collections solutions, escrow services & dividend business) to trade finance (import services, export services, funded & non-funded products, forex remittances and structured trade transactions).
Role
- Product Management for Physical & Digital Collection products - P&L management, define the product roadmap, driving sales, creating go-to-market strategies, product marketing, fintech tie-ups and managing risks
- Provide leadership and overall direction for product architecture, design and releases, in lieu of rapidly changing highly competitive marketplace
- Drive business strategy & ensure that stakeholders across domains contribute to the overall product roadmap & objectives
- Monitor commercial success through P&L management, as well as overall product performance and competitiveness in the marketplace &, take corrective actions
- Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
- Spot opportunities in the market, along with the relationship team, to target companies, industries and sectors and sell suitable product offerings for them
- Interaction with potential customers to understand the technical requirement for system integration for TBG products/services
- Structure transactions, win the mandate and assist the team in formulating transaction pricing to ensure revenue commensurate with risks and administrative efforts
- Ensure desired penetration of the product in the market through the relationship team by providing marketing support, visibility campaigns and brand presence
- Deal with Fintechs/vendors/ payment aggregators to structure new solutions & launch new use cases
Requirement
- Knowledge of new products on collections - BBPS, UPI, Net banking, Cash & Cheque collections
- Immense knowledge in Payables and receivable management, preferably an engineer with an MBA
- 2-4 years of post-MBA experience in product management in Cash Management Services
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job
- Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
