Job Description : Claims Chief Manager - Liability (On Role)
Location : Mumbai Corporate Office
Grade : Chief Manager
Required Qualification/Parameters :
Education : Preferably a Law Graduate from a reputed institute.
Experience : 6+ years of experience in managing liability insurance claims within an insurance company or insurance broking environment.
Skills :
- Strong negotiation and analytical abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in computer usage.
Reporting To :
- Senior Vice President - Claims
Key Responsibilities :
Claims Management :
- Oversee the entire claims process from registration to settlement, ensuring adherence to policy terms and conditions.
Coordination :
- Work closely with surveyors, legal advisors, subject matter experts, forensic investigators, and accountants to manage claims effectively.
Vendor Management :
- Empanel and manage relationships with surveyors, legal advisors, and other relevant vendors.
Process Adherence :
- Ensure compliance with predefined processes and turnaround times (TATs) for claims processing.
Documentation :
- Maintain comprehensive claim files, including all relevant documents.
Collaboration :
- Engage in close interaction with the Distribution and Underwriting teams to ensure seamless claims handling.
MIS Preparation :
- Prepare Management Information Systems (MIS) reports for senior management.
Additional Tasks :
- Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Reporting Manager or Chief Claims Officer.
- This role demands a strategic and detail-oriented individual capable of managing complex claims processes and ensuring efficient and effective resolution in alignment with company policies and objectives.
